“You are **bearing witness** about yourself;

about myself, my **testimony** is true, for I know where I **came from**
and where I am **going**, but you do **not know** where I come from
or where I am going. True Testimony (v13-14) 1. **True Judgment** (v15-18) 1. True Son (v19-20) 1. True Light (v12) --- You **judge** according to the **flesh**; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is **true**,
for it is not I alone who judge,

into the world to **condemn** the world, but in order that the world

testimony of **two people** is true. **I** am the one who bears witness about myself,
and the **Father** who sent me
bears witness about me. If you **knew me**,

will not **walk** in darkness,
but will have the light of **life**. [John 8:12 (ESV)](# "ref") >>> + lets us **see** clearly + to not **stumble** + reveals **dirt** / flaws + not to **condemn**, + but to **cleanse** --- But you are not in **darkness**, brothers,
for that day to **surprise** you like a thief. For you are all **children of light**,
children of the day [1 Thessalonians 5:4-5 (ESV)](# "ref") --- Walk as **children of light** -- for the **fruit** of light is found
in all that is good and right and true -- and try to discern what is **pleasing** to the Lord. [Ephesians 5:8-10 (ESV)](# "ref") --- # How can we walk as
